Parking Facilities

Duke Hospital and Duke Clinic each has its own parking garage. Clinic parking is located on Trent Drive in front of Duke Clinic. Duke Hospital Parking is located on Erwin Road across from  Duke Hospital.

X-rays and some other outpatient procedures are done in both Duke Hospital and Duke Clinic. So  if you are not sure where to park, call (919) 416-DUKE to check the location of your visit.

Hourly rates with a maximum daily fee are charged in both  parking garages. Cash and checks are accepted at the garage exits.

Handicapped parking is available in both parking facilities. For oversized vehicles, seven feet is the  maximum height limit in the Duke Hospital Parking Garage. The Duke Clinic Parking Garage has a  nine-foot maximum height.

Valet parking service is available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Duke Clinic entrance for a fee. You will be greeted at your car and receive a claim check for your vehicle, and your car will  be parked in the Clinic Parking Garage. A few minutes prior to the end of your Clinic visit, ask  Clinic Personnel to call Valet Services at 684-2010. Valet Services will then have your car waiting  at the entrance you request.
Wheelchair service is available (see Visitor Services, below)

Access to Duke Hospital

Should you have a procedure or exam scheduled at Duke Hospital, the Duke Hospital Parking Garage is connected to the hospital by an underground walkway. This walkway is accessible by  elevator from both the garage and the hospital. We recommend that family and visitors use the  walkway rather than deal with the traffic encountered when crossing Erwin Road to Duke Hospital.
